ABOUT MESHFLO
Meshflo Products LLC is a licensing company dedicated to improving drainage systems with its patented new approach for covering any type of drain cover with a permanent, tightly fixed mesh.
The mesh has openings large enough to permit surface water to flow through while being small enough to exclude mosquitos that would use the drainage system as a habitat for breeding. Other insects, small animals, and clogging debris are also kept out.
The durable mesh covering is resistant to weathering and punctures. It is easy to clean (without removing the cover) and is suitable for use in all applications with light to medium debris loads.
Meshflo’s recently granted patent (US 12,139,903) gives it the exclusive right to license this technology within all states in the USA and its territories.
Meshflo Product’s patent for this type of drain cover is robust and encompasses all possible sizes and shape configurations, including both raised profile and flat profile.
Meshflo is interested in partnering with established manufacturers to bring this exciting new technology to the market.
HOW IT WORKS
Meshflo’s technology uses a reliable and effective way to tightly fix the mesh to the surface: A channel is recessed into the outer edges of the drain cover.
The mesh is compressed into the channel and held in place by a channel cover. Screws (or other forms of fastening, such as adhesives or snap-fittings) are then used to hold the channel cover and mesh in place.
The parts of a Meshflo drain cover are easy to both produce and easy to assemble. The grating and cover ring can be made out of plastic or metal.
The mesh can be made out of high strength metals or polyester materials and can be colored to match the grating.
The screws and lifting eyes are made out of rust-proof stainless steel, and likewise can be colored.
PATENT INFORMATION
Meshflo’s drain cover technology is covered by the claims of Patent No. US 12,139,903, granted on November 12th, 2024 (and expiring on August 2nd, 2043).
The technology can be used to create meshed versions for all types of drain covers, including new designs that will fit the same profile of an existing drain cover.
